Research and Scholarly Interests
•Women's Cognitive Health. I'm interested in individual differences in brain functioning. Particularly the influence that sex and gender, the menstrual cycle, genetics/handedness, experience and culture have on neuropsychological functioning in women. See the Women's Cognitive Health Research Team.
• Everyday Problems of Memory. I'm interested in how neuropsychology speaks to problems of memory in the daily world. I've done research in memory for medication taking in the elderly and in the ways spatial memory issues manifest in real-world situations.
• Neuropsychology and the Movies. I am interested in the manner in which neurological problems are depicted in popular film.
